This may be the first and only time you’ll see me rock a crop top on the blog! Crop tops have been so popular the last year or two and I just haven’t been able to bring myself to jump on the trend train. Maybe its my age. Aren’t only twenty-something’s supposed to wear those? Or, maybe it’s the fear of having my belly in public outside of a beach environment. In any case, I made a dive into the deep end of the pool and decided to live a little.
Grey is arguably my favorite color, next to white. Honestly, whether it’s light grey or dark grey doesn’t matter to me. Charcoal is just as chic as cloudy grey. I’ve been trying to be good with my shopping in preparation for our upcoming honeymoon, but this Free People split back sweater caught my eye during the recent Nordstrom sale. It wasn’t even included in the sale, and it sold out! But, the amazing news is that it’s since been restocked and you have NO reason to not run out and buy this baby. It’s so light and so soft. It’s the perfect transition sweater for Fall. I already know how I’ll wear it – paired with my favorite grey skinnies and booties, of course!
Hello my lovelies! I hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend. After a LONG week in Vegas, I was ready to lay around and catch up on the latest fashion news on my favorite sites and of course – do some online “window” shopping! Below are the articles and pretty shiny things that caught my eye.

The Best of this Week’s Fashion News
My birthday is (kinda of) coming up and I’ve decided what I want! This leopard calf hair clutch by Clare V. is at the top of the list.
Shoes are pretty and I do love them, but bags make my outfit. I’m a bag girl. Refinery 29 released this article on the most coveted bags. Of course, a few of my favorites made the list! The Chanel classic flap and Chloe Marcie are classics. Next on my list is the Gucci Dionysus Mini (Christmas maybe!?).
All the Fall fashion magazines arrived while I was out of town. So, I pored over the gorgeousness that’s about to hit stores. I think these Rag & Bone booties are a must-have.
Have you heard of Needle & Thread? I wore one of their stunning dresses in our engagement photos and I’m obsessed with their attention to detail. This dress might have to be worn on a special occasion on our honeymoon…
I wore these two-tone slingbacks to church today and to work last week. They are a perfect dupe for the Chanel version you’re probably seeing on every fashion blogger, but at a MUCH lower price. They will sell out!
