Aquis Flip Hair Towel Review

When it comes to women and our hair, we’ll try a lot of things that save us time and keep our manes looking beautiful. Since becoming a new mom, my time has become so precious and I’ve been on the lookout for tools that help me get more efficient with my hair and beauty routine. Enter the Aquis Flip Hair Towel. Every morning (or every other morning and now sometimes every few days as time allows), I shower and put my hair in a towel to dry. It works, but regular towels leads to frizz and breakage. Not with the Flip. It’s clinically proven to strengthen hair while it dries and makes it more evenly damp to reduce friction. I’ve become a huge fan and will share a full Aquis Flip Hair Towel review in today’s post.

Aquis Flip Hair Towel Review

So, what’s so great about this hair towel? Honestly, it’s almost hard to put into words. Ultimately, I base my product testing success on one factor – do I reach for it regularly? That could be with clothes, handbags, jewelry, beauty, or any purchase really. With the Aquis Flip, I haven’t stopped using it since I opened the package. My towel gets used every single day. It even came along on my girls trip to Nashville. I simply didn’t want to be without it and it’s super easy to pack. Read more pros and cons below.

Aquis Hair Wrap Review

Still need more convincing? Let’s break down this review into the pros and cons:

Pros:

  • Less damaging to your hair than a standard towel. The Aquitex technology wicks away water with less friction.
  • Cuts drying time – which means more time with my kiddo (or gets you out the door quicker, whatever is more important!)
  • Reduces frizz
  • Increase shine
  • Bonus – it’s conscious design is powered by recycled water bottles

Cons:

  • At the top of the list is price. The Flip is $50, but again – it’s well worth it. But, the towel is substantially less at $25.
  • Length – the only other thing I can think of is length for us long-hair girlies. I wish it was a tad bit longer. But, it works just fine the way it is now.

Aquis Flip, Wrap and Hair Towels

Huh? Aren’t these all the same thing? Sorry if it’s confusing, but Aquis actually makes a handful of different hair drying tools. My go-to is the Flip. Then, there’s the wrap which has a button loop closer. Finally, there’s the towel. It’s a regular looking towel like you’d expect, but it’s made from the same Aquitex technology as the other hair tools. You can use it flat and pat and dry areas. Or, you can twist and tuck this style as well. The most secure way to flip and tuck is really with the Flip product IMO.

How to Use Aquis Flip Hair Towel

First, I like to ring my hair out to get a lot of the heavy water out. I also brush through my hair before I use my Aquis Flip. Then, flip your hair over and align the towel with the back of your neck. Make sure the piece of elastic is in the center. Next, start to twist the towel, ensuring that all of your hair is in the fabric. Flip your head over, continue to twist the towel and then secure the end of the towel in the elastic band.

It’s super easy and you can watch the video above for a demonstration!

Is the Aquis Flip worth it?

So, for the final time… yes, I love my Aquis Flip towel. It cuts my drying time in half. I can tell a difference in my hair, particularly in the reduction in frizz. Is it worth it for $50? A resounding yes. You will use this everyday!
