Angel Dear Baby Clothes Review

After dressing Everett for almost the last year, I’ve found that not all baby clothes are created equal. More specifically, finding cute baby boy clothes is far harder compared to the abundance of adorable clothes for baby girls. But, we have a handful of brands that we’ve come to love and buy regularly, including Angel Dear. I first discovered this high-end kids wear brand in a gift my sister-in-law sent when we announced our pregnancy. Inside was a newborn 2 way zipper footie in the cutest star and moon print. Made from a soft and stretchy bamboo viscose, it quickly became a favorite once baby Everett was home from the hospital. Today’s post shares a detailed Angel Dear baby clothes review. And, it’s worth noting – they make the cutest baby girl clothes too!

Angel Dear Baby Clothes Review

I mentioned that Angel Dear is a high-end baby clothes brand. So, it’s worth noting that there are other affordable places I regularly buy from like H&M, Target, and Carters. Like my own style, Ev wears a mix of fast-fashion and some nicer pieces. Some other high-quality favorites are Magnetic Me and Caden Lane (read my full review here).

And then there is Angel Dear. To me, they are some of the absolute best baby clothes and there are a few reasons why.

To start, they are so easy to get on and off.

This might sound basic, but wait until you have a crying infant or baby you’re trying to dress who is kicking off their clothes. The stretch in the bamboo viscose material helps make outfit changes quick.

Mittens and Footies

Many brands use flip-over pieces at the end of the arms and legs to serve as mittens and footies. Angel Dear has the mittens but then uses solid footies with a stretchy ankle piece. Then, some of the footies have a thin piece of fleece on the inside lining which keeps babies feet warm at night which is nice too. Footless rompers are great for when baby starts to pull up and stand (and walk). But, before then footies are the way to go, even if you live someplace warm.

Comfort

Another pro of the material is the comfort. Sometimes other brands use viscose, but the ends of the arms and legs are so snug! It can be uncomfortable and dig into your babies skin leaving marks. Not with Angel Dear. The organic fibers are breathable and let your baby move.

Sizing

Additionally, and I’ll go into more detail in the bit on sizing near the end of this post, but the stretch of the material means you can get more wear from each piece. We didn’t make the jump to the 3-6 size until Everett was nearly 5 months and he was tall for his age! Babies grow so fast. So, you don’t want to spend a fortune on their clothes. But, you also want to invest in a few things they can wear a lot that are a nicer, more comfortable and so cute!

Cute Prints

Finally, they have the cutest prints. They release new collections regularly for each season (Everett is wearing their Spring items in the two pictures above). And, you can normally find a bunch of great neutral options too. The baby girl motifs are so lovely. I just purchased the prettiest floral print with ruffles for a girlfriend of mine who is having a baby early next year.

2 Way Zipper Footie baby clothing

2 Way Zipper Footie

The Angel Dear 2-Way Zipper Footie is a must-have for parents seeking both style and practicality in baby clothing. Crafted from the softest, high-quality fabrics, such as bamboo and organic cotton, these footies ensure your little one stays cozy and comfortable. The two-way zipper design simplifies diaper changes, making late-night routines a breeze. The variety of fabric options caters to different preferences, with bamboo offering breathability and organic cotton providing a natural touch. The superior craftsmanship ensures durability and longevity, making it a worthwhile investment for parents (priced at $35 but sales can be as low as $17). While the price may be slightly higher compared to other options, the benefits of the 2-way zipper, coupled with the luxurious feel and diverse fabric choices, make it a standout choice for discerning parents.

2 Way Zipper Romper

The Angel Dear 2-Way Zipper Romper (this one is so cute for little girls!) is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Crafted with a keen eye on quality, this romper comes in a variety of fabrics, each ensuring a soft touch against your baby’s delicate skin. From the gentle embrace of bamboo to the cozy warmth of cotton, Angel Dear offers choices that cater to different preferences. Like the footie, the standout feature is undoubtedly the two-way zipper, facilitating quick and easy diaper changes without disturbing your little one’s sleepy serenity.

The pros extend to the stylish designs and the durable construction that withstands countless washes. As your little one starts to pull up to stand and walk, you’ll likely want to move them into rompers versus footies so they don’t slip. Overall, the Angel Dear 2-Way Zipper Romper is a testament to quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design, ensuring both parent and baby can revel in peaceful moments together.

Pricing runs $40-42 (but can be $20 on sale).

Blankie

When Everett was born, we were sent an embroidered Angel Dear blankie as a gift. He’s just starting to carry it around with him now as a lovey and it’s adorable! The fabric is a super soft polyester, so it’s easily washable. They come in a big range of styles and animals to pick from and we have the Spotted Doggie. They’re only $15, so they’re a steal (plus cost to embroider if you go that path).

Where to Buy Angel Dear Baby Clothing

The best place to buy Angel Dear clothing is their own website. Why? Because you can find their entire collections on their site online. But, there are a number of other retailers that carry portions of their line, including:

You may be able to find them in department stores locally. Many of these retailers offer great sales during holidays, so keep an eye out for deals on Angel Dear items.

Angel Dear Size Chart

Angel Dear Size Chart

Aside from how cute the prints are, the major benefit to the Angel Dear pieces made from bamboo is how much they stretch. With cotton or linen, I find we’re more limited in the length of time Everett can wear each size (he’s growing so fast!). But, we get extra life with Angel Dear. Obviously, every baby is different. So, there’s no guarantee. But, we continued to wear each size into the next range for a month or two.

Angel Dear baby clothes follow standard baby and children’s sizes, starting with newborn, then 0 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months, 12 to 18 months, and 18 to 24 months. Then, the toddler sizes begin. The size chart above shows the height and weight for sizes up to 24 months.

Are Angel Dear baby clothes worth it?

Are Angel Dear baby clothes worth it?

This question is a no brainer for us. Everett loves his Angel Dear clothes and there’s a reason we purchased some in each size – he likes them the best. If buying them full price isn’t doable, shop the sales! Since they offer so many new releases, you’ll often be able to find them on sale and they’re well worth it.
