My Holy Grail Beauty Products

Everything you need for your best beauty look.

My Holy Grail Beauty Products

To say that I recently leveled up my beauty routine is an understatement. My goal with beauty and using products is always to be the best version of myself. Anything you use should always enhance you, not hide you. And, these last few months I hit the beauty jackpot, finding a handful of my holy grail beauty products. From a surprise PR package from La Mer that included The Concentrate serum to an event I attended with Armani Beauty, I feel like my skin has never looked better.

My Holy Grail Beauty Products

Flawless skin with these holy grail beauty faves.

I’ve read countless articles hyping up beauty products recommended by editors. But, at the end of the day you have to figure out what works for your skin. Often times, that comes down to two things – the formula and the range of shades. Since my skin is more combination or oily, I love products that are moisturizing. I know that because I’ve tested products meant more for dry skin that felt awful on my face. Over time, I’ve refined my go-to’s. These four things are my holy grail items.

My Holy Grail Beauty Products

Three beauty products that changed my skin.

The Concentrate by La Mer

Out of everything in my morning and evening routine, applying serum is my favorite part. I’ve written about a few other serums I love in this post, but The Concentrate by La Mer now holds the top spot. The formula makes my skin baby soft and hydrates it instantly (literally a lifesaver after travel). It soothes redness and any irritation too. But, here’s the catch – it’s $190 for the smallest size bottle. That’s basically four of the other serum I regularly purchase! So, this is not an everyday product for me because it’s really a treat. I use it every other day and only at night.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I’ve been sharing beauty faves for more than a year now, and occasionally that’s included a few fails. Back in this post last July, I shared that the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was less than stellar. But, when I attended an Armani Beauty event in April, I realized I’d bought the wrong shade (one too dark and with an orange/yellow undertone). Now, I’m using shade 5.25 and it changed my opinion entirely. For years, I’d touted the Nars Sheer Glow foundation as my fav, but the Luminous Silk looks like my skin. I’ve never had a better shade match and it wears beautifully throughout the day.

La Crema Nuda

At that Armani same event, a bottle of La Crema Nuda (shade 4.5) made its way into my gift bag. This stuff is THE REAL DEAL. It’s a tinted cream that blurs imperfections and brightens skin. I compare it to the Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer that I’ve used for years, except it’s a little thicker and slightly mattifying. I add a single pump of this to my moisturizer in the morning, before I apply my Luminous Silk foundation. The texture of my skin is flawless when I use these two together. I’m down to my last few drops and nearly had a panic attack. So, I just bought a replacement bottle. Again, the price tag here is hefty at $120, so remember to use just a pump and stretch your number of applications.

The Bronzer you Need for Summer

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette

Finally, the fourth of my holy grail beauty products is the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette in the shade Fair/Medium. Her brand has a cult following and I’m in it! I purchased this during the recent Sephora sale and have used it everyday since. There are three other bronzers I’ve used regularly, but this one is the most natural I’ve tried. The pinky bronze color is flattering and creates a perfect flush. The powder is blendable and buildable, so you can contour more if you want. Then, I use the highlighter down the bridge of my nose, at the top of my cheek bones and right above the arch of my eyebrows.

Diptyque Eau Duelle

My New Signature Scent

Diptyque Eau Duelle

Lastly, I found a new fragrance that I’m obsessed with and wearing every day. Back in December, I bought Diptyque Eau Duelle honestly because I needed something pretty for my gift guide for the holidays. I’ve always worn Amber Vanille by Laura Mercier and I wanted something more sophisticated. This is more spicy and smells like bourbon vanilla. It’s elevated and just right for summer nights.
