CHRISTMAS FAIR ISLE SWEATER

Free People Fair Isle Split Neck SweaterMerry Christmas! We’re splitting time this year between my family and Matt’s, so we traveled up North early Friday morning to Illinois. I am always freezing on airplances so I just bought this Free People Fair Isle sweater on sale at Nordstrom (and it’s even cheaper now)! I layered a stretchy black turtleneck underneath and it was perfect for the trip. I traveled with my favorite reversible tote bag and brought along my Tory Burch crossbody for when we’re out and about in town.Free People Fair Isle Split Neck Sweater and red Anthropologie scarf Red Snow Day Anthropologie scarf and ASKA Collection Troy boots Red Snow Day Anthropologie scarf and Free People Fair Isle sweaterRed Snow Day Anthropologie scarfFur trimmed coat and Anthropologie scarf
Coat: Anne Klein (old, similar here and here) // Sweater: Free People // Denim: AG Jeans // Boots: ASKA Collection (also love these and found them here too) // Scarf: Anthropologie ON SALE // Bag: Tory Burch (old, similar here) // Hat: LOFT (from last year, similar here and just got this one)

It’s hard to believe that Christmas has already come and gone (sad face emoji)! I love the holiday season and how everything looks all decorated. I was hoping for a white Christmas while we’re up North, but it’s been unseasonably warm. Matt’s mom and dad put up lots of beautiful wreaths and the front of the house looks so adorable!

Fair isle sweaters have been a big trend this year. I have a lot of form-fitting sweaters, so I knew when I saw this oversized version by Free People that I wanted to add it to my ever-growing collection. Of course, I got the grey and white print. If you want one with a little more color, I also really love this pastel crewneck style from JCrew.

I styled the look with this gorgeous red scarf from Anthropologie. The bright red color makes it a great statement piece when you’re wearing neutral colors (which I always do). It’s ON SALE now and comes in a few other colors if red isn’t your thing.

I always get complimented on my Troy ankle booties by ASKA Collection. They are really flattering (some boots can make your feet look big) and I didn’t have to break them in at all. I also love this version by Acne, but they’re definitely a splurge!

It’s absolutely crazy, but I’ve had this coat for nearly a decade now! Fur trimmed jackets are popular this season. I love this tan one by Michael Kors.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your loved ones!
