Easy Easter Decoration Ideas

Last year was the first time we hosted a small group of family for Easter and I was totally unprepared! All of my Easter decor got ordered at the last second (and somehow thankfully arrived in time). This year there are some gorgeous rabbit figurines, cute Easter signs and so many more items that would look perfect if you’re hosting. So, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite easy Easter decoration ideas in this post that I hope you’ll love.

Easy Easter Decoration Ideas

From setting a pretty Easter tablescape to styling your couches with chic throw pillows with bunnies, there are a bunch of ways you can decorate your home for the holiday. The best news is that none of your Easter decoration ideas have to break the bank. Stores like Target and Amazon sell affordable and cute items that you can buy this year and store for future use.

Decorating for Easter

Like my other home decor, when decorating for Easter I use neutral colors. Of course, for spring and Easter I’ll add some small pops of pastel colors like pink, green and blue too. A great example of how I add soft colors is with this stunning Easter wreath. I keep wreaths on the door year-round and change them out based on the season. That one would be perfect and it’s on sale for under $60!

Easter Throw Pillows

One of the most easy Easter decorations you can add to your home are throw pillows! That’s right! Swap out your current pillows on your couch and chairs with something like this or this. There are endless options for Easter throw pillows. I love the options at Target and I love to look at Homegoods too. They’re so affordable!

Easter Table Decor

The center of your home if you’re hosting Easter is your dining room table. But, don’t worry about investing in plates or things you won’t otherwise use the rest of the year (we use paper plates a lot of times!). An easy way to decorate your table for Easter is with simple jute placemats, white linen napkins and a plaid tablecloth to bring it altogether. Then, the finishing touch are the cutest bunny ears napkin rings which make the table festive!

Easter Serving Dishes

Once your table is set, you can set your sights on a few pretty Easter serving dishes. Pottery Barn has some of my favorites! They bring back the same styles every year. They’re classic! I use this one for green beans and this one would be perfect for hors d’oeuvres. It’s almost a requirement to serve eggs on Easter. So, be sure to grab this oversized deviled eggs tray too. Then, this two-tier tray would be lovely for little sandwiches if you’re hosting lunch or for another appetizer.

Rabbit Figurines

Finally, it’s perfectly fitting to have a few rabbit figurines around the house when decorating for Easter. My favorites are these (another Pottery Barn find). But, they’re pricey! So, instead I’ll be getting something like this. The gold details on these are a bit more glam and it’s just over $25 for the set of three!

From a decorative wreath on your front door to a tablescape with whimsical bunny ear details, you’re on your way to having a fun and festive home for the Easter holiday. Add some extra cozy with extra throw pillows and pay some homage to the season with a few rabbit figurines or pastel details and your home will be the most enjoyable.
