Master Bedroom Reveal – Serena & Lily Bedding

Master Bedroom Reveal - Serena & Lily Bedding

Hi friends! I’m thrilled to reveal our master bedroom makeover in partnership with Serena & Lily. And, it’s just in time for their amazing Black Friday sale. You can take 25% OFF your entire order (a few exceptions apply) with code THANKFUL through 11:59 p.m. on 12/3/19. Before we started, I knew I wanted the space to be very calming. Our furniture was already white and gold with some light wood touches. So, we kept the bedding clean and simple to make it feel like a spa. I have to say, the Serena & Lily bedding is best in class and such a nice quality. Then, we added texture to the room with my favorite part, the throw pillows! Get all the details on each piece we used and how we mixed and matched them below.

Serena & Lily Bedding – Bedding Collections

If you’re anything like me, your bed (and your bedroom) is your safe haven. It’s more than where you just sleep. So, it goes without saying that your bedding needs to be chic, cozy and something you can essentially live in.

The bedding collections at Serena & Lily check all those boxes and more. Before we moved in last year, I bookmarked a bunch of items I loved at the store. We were finally able to circle back to them when this opportunity to partner with the brand came up. Authenticity is so important to me when it comes to items we use in our home. To be honest, Matt and I have taken a painstakingly long time to make a few core choices for our home and new bedding was one of them!

But, once I revisited the options – it was easier then it looked to put together everything we needed for the whole room. First, I knew I wanted white. So, I simply used the ‘Classic White Bedding’ tab to review my favs. But, you can also search by embroidered bedding or by material. Of course, they also have a bunch of inspiration if you need that as well.

Everything We Used for our Bedroom

To start, we selected the Mar Vista Matelassé duvet cover. It has a delicate fringe on the edges of the material that really give it a soft and dreamy feel. Then, I mixed in the Sutter Quilted Shams (standard size) for a feminine touch. I knew I wanted a few throw pillows and we grabbed two to start with. But, I do think we’ll probably add a third. We used the Albion Pillow Cover and the Cuesta Pillow Cover which matched the bohemian feel my mirror gave the room. Lastly, we wanted a blanket for the end of the bed. The Carlsbad Cotton Throw is basically like an oversized sweater you can lay on! It comes in a few colors, but I kept with the neutral theme.

The space is now nearly complete! We could use a few frames on the wall and possibly a bench at the foot of the bed. Ideally, we’ll bring a bit of color into the space through those elements, keeping everything else really soft.

If you’re looking to redo your space or you’re planning a move, definitely jump on the Black Friday sale to score some great deals at 25% OFF!
