Fall Trend: White Booties

Topshop white booties and Chicwish tiered floral dress were the final look at NYFW for Amanda of A Glam Lifestyle blog
If you only buy one thing this season, it should be a fabulous pair of white booties. I purchased an affordable pair from Topshop to wear at NYFW and then saw them on the feet of major fashion bloggers all around the city. While I wouldn’t say I’m normally the first to jump on a trend – this is one I can get behind (hello, neutrals?!). Also, I wouldn’t personally look at white booties as a trend. These babies will take you right into Spring when the color palette turns to pastels. So, you’ll get at least two seasons of wear out of them. I love the way they paired with this tiered dress from Chicwish. With it’s light layers, it was perfect with my suede moto jacket (similar here) thrown over my shoulders.

White Booties for Fall

Ankle booties. Sock booties. Give me any white bootie and I’d be happy. That said, I totally get the hesitancy to pull the trigger and snag a pair for yourself. Worried you’ll scuff them or get them dirty? I was too. But, even after prancing around the city in them in this look and then again here, they barely had a mark on them. Yes, I should have put a protectant on them and I probably still will since I anticipate a lot of wear these next few months.

Concerned about how you’ll style them? Don’t be. As you saw from my outfit here, they work really well with dresses like my little floral number (and would also be super cute with this one or this one). But, you can also throw them on with cropped denim or a great midi skirt a la this look.

While I bought the pair I’m wearing directly from Topshop, I know some of you like to buy at retailers where it’s a little easier to make returns in person. This pair from Nordstrom is nearly identical to the ones I have (and still priced at $150). I also love these by Kendall and Kylie, but they are a bit higher priced at just under $200.

If you have any questions about the ones I’m wearing just let me know in the comments below!
