From pumpkin spiced lattes, to teddy coats and oversized scarves, it’s clear that Fall has arrived. South Florida may not quite have a chill in the air, but I’m not above embracing the seasons key pieces like cozy sweaters and chic leather pants. With the amount of knits I have in my closet, one would think I live in the Northeast. There’s just something about Fall weather that’s my favorite! Luckily, I have a bit of travel planned that will take me to colder locales and this post shows you exactly what I’d wear for a fall date night outfit.

What I’d Wear for a Fall Date Night Outfit
During Fall, I tend to reach for my favorite pair of dark denim or leggings over an over again when Matt and I go out. I layer with a cozy cardigan (normally a cashmere blend so it’s super soft and keeps me warm in the movie theaters that are as cold as it is outside!). My go-to booties are on my feet and it’s super simple to put together my outfit.
But, this season I’m trying to switch it up a bit and add some edginess to my look. These faux leather joggers are literally perfect for your Fall date night outfit. They added a certain amount of sex appeal to my simple white sweater (UNDER $100!) and yet they were still so easy to wear. The front is faux leather and the back are a cotton blend with lycra, so they conform to your body and hug you just right. I love the idea of pairing it with a silk cami and duster cardi too!
My jewelry preference is gold year-round. Right now I’m reaching for these gold hammered earrings from Lisi Lerch at least a few times a week. I’m also stacking my arm high with Julie Vos baubles, like this one and this one. I can never get enough! Lastly, this Zac by Zac Posen crossbody bag is gorgeous!
