We did it! We booked our first trip for Fall and I couldn’t be more excited. After months of being at home, I’m ready for a long weekend away with family. So, I’m planning what to pack, including an easy fall outfit that starts with a cult fav, an Anine Bing sweatshirt, scroll down for the full outfit!
You might remember I recently recommended this Anine Bing sweatshirt in this post. I’ve basically had my eye on it all year. So, I scooped it up to wear in cool mountain air in a few weeks. It goes well with pretty much everything, including sweatpants (my jam lately), shorts, and denim. But I’m most excited to wear it with leggings. I styled it here with my fav faux leather leggings (last seen here and here). Then, you can add in these shearling booties that sell out every season and you’ve got yourself a classic fall outfit.

How to Style an Anine Bing Sweatshirt for Fall
This is now my second Anine Bing sweatshirt and I have to say, I just love them. Coming in at $150, they are absolutely expensive AF. But, in my opinion they’re well-worth the money and I find myself reaching for them often. So, that brings down the cost per wear significantly.
As far as sizing goes, most times I say size down in Anine Bing because they run a bit oversized. But, I took my true size in this piece (medium). It gave me more room and a little more length too.
I think what I love most about these sweatshirts is their versatility. The weather seems to be very up and down right now in a lot of places (50’s one day and 80’s the next). For Fall transitional days, these sweatshirts are very easy to style with biker shorts and sneakers one day. Then, you can wear them with a light jacket, leggings and boots the next.

Speaking of boots, right now chelsea boots are trending and I’m contemplating getting a pair for our trip. They’re chic and practical, so why not?! I tell you, this year has been so unpredictable. I don’t think anyone would have predicted Dr. Martens would make a major comeback!
Layer Your Anine Bing Sweatshirt with a Camel Coatigan
This may seem counter intuitive, but throwing a camel coatigan over your sweatshirt really completes this easy fall outfit. Most of you like to cover your booty in leggings. Since this sweatshirt doesn’t meet that requirement, you may want to layer a cardi like this one or tie a denim jacket around your waist. Either way, it gives the outfit a bit more dimension. And, personally I love the color combo.
