Chic Work Outfits: Floral Blazer

Chic Work Outfits: Floral Blazer Anne Fontaine
Looking chic in the office is something I take seriously. Like I mentioned in my last post, I work in an office environment everyday. My passion for fashion occasionally lets me go more casual in a cute tee and jeans. But, most days I wear dresses and heels (these dusty rose beauties are a current fave) or a blazer and a button up top. When it comes to jackets, you won’t find a simple black blazer in my closet. For Spring, this floral blazer by Anne Fontaine is giving me life. Fashion is FUN! Sometimes we can forget that. Anne Fontaine won’t let us forget.

Making Work Outfits Fun Again

I partnered with Anne Fontaine before in this post to show you how you could be casual chic in your off-duty hours. But, when you’re on the clock and in the office you definitely want to look your best.

Anne Fontaine Floral Blazer

This floral blazer will not only make you one of the “Best Dressed” employees on staff, but also amp up your professionalism. Anytime I need to elevate my look, I opt for a version of a power suit. I’m not talking about a matching suit and jacket. You may need to go that route if you’re an attorney or in finance. But, if you’re in any other profession where you have a little more creative leeway for fun work outfits, you want to play with texture and patterns to define your office style.

Instead, pair a statement jacket (this one has floral appliques over the checked pattern) with a stunning lace blouse. Throw on your best fitting slacks, or a pair of textured leggings, and you’ll be sure to leave an impression.

For the office, I’ll normally carry a bigger bag to fit all my items I bring to work. But, to transition to after-hours drinks or dinner grab a clutch with some feminine details. This small ruffled bag can also be worn cross-body like I did here or as a belt bag (so on trend!).

What’s your office style?
