When it comes to deciding what to buy in the Shopbop Friends and Family sale, you have to stop and think. “Okay – I want it all. But, what do I need?” The answer may be that you need nothing at all, but stopping to think about what you might purchase helps narrow down the options. One recommendation I have is to use the sale to stock up on basics. This Rails white tee is a great example. White shirts are in constant rotation in my daily look and they need to be updated every year or two. I also really like this easy dress by Rory Beca. It comes in a few colors, but I picked the beige-white color (naturally). This leopard clutch has been on my wish list for nearly two years, so it might be time to bite the bullet and snag that baby officially. And, I consider leopard print a neutral, which is why it’s in my basics category. It would pair nicely with this mint off-the-shoulder top that’s under $45 or with this more expensive version here.
In the dress department, I immediately scooped up this off-the-shoulder dress by Thayer and it’s selling out fast. This dress by MLM Label is perfect for Spring and Summer and would be my next top pick. You could pair either with the new “it” shoe style, the flatform espadrille, or with these sandals by Soludos.
