Blogging Tips – What I’ve Learned Along the Way

JCrew striped sweater is always affordable fall fashion as styled by AGlamLifestyle blogger Amanda in Vancouver at Siwash RockI know… it’s been a while. While I haven’t ever been the most consistent in posting on the blog, I’ve definitely fallen off the last 4-6 weeks. But, during these few weeks I took some time to reflect on my blogging journey that started two and a half years ago. And, since I’ve never celebrated a blogiversary I thought it was time to share some blogging tips I’ve learned along the way. See – what I tend to share is the fun of getting some free clothes or working with great brands and the glam of NYFW. And, don’t get me wrong. Those are the perks! My Style – New Years Resolutions

Amanda from A Glam Lifestyle shares her new years resolutions for style and the blog while wearing Club Monaco Sohrab sweater dress and Maje black leather moto jacketIt’s that time of year again when we reflect on the milestones and accomplishments of the past year and think, “where did it go!?” I know that’s how I feel anyways. But, before I do that I feel compelled to tell you that this Club Monaco dress I wore to Christmas Eve dinner with my family is on MAJOR sale (just over $100!). It’s overwhelmingly comfy and such a steal right now.

Rag and Bone raglan top, AG white jeans, Rag and Bone Laurie boater hatHappy Monday! I’ll kick-start this post by saying that I do plan to get back on a regular schedule and cadence on the blog now that the wedding (and planning) is done and over. I have a handful of outfits and events that I’m excited to share with you all from our wedding weekend. First up is a brief review of our dinner date at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch the day we got to Napa. As can be expected, my whole wardrobe for the week was white! I’ve been slightly obsessed with Rag & Bone lately. This straw boater hat and these gorgeous wedges were two of my staple pieces from my Summer Neutrals post. To find out what we ate and how we liked it, keep reading!

CLASSIC TURKEY MEATBALLS

turkey, meatball, italian, recipeCreating a plan of what I’ll eat for dinner for the week is one of the hardest things for me to do. I typically get home around 7 p.m., so I need recipes that are easy and healthy. We had turkey meat in the fridge, so I went for a twist on my mom’s classic meatballs this past week.
