Embrace The White Out Trend
The trend I am loving most right now is wearing white. That age-old myth about only wearing it certain times of the year is just simply not true. So, forget what people have told you about after Memorial Day and before Labor Day – white is here for year-round wear.

Pleats dominated the runways over the last few seasons, and this Spring, they’re taking over in blouses like this with white smocked top. I’ve seen a few that I really like (here and here). Additionally, the Banana Republic top features a tiered look without the pleat, but it’s similar in style. I prefer this one from Club Monaco. There’s a tiny sheer detail that runs the length of the piece from top to bottom in the middle.
Finding a great pair of culottes was a challenge! I literally ordered 5 different pairs by various brands. I nearly gave up until I purchased these by 1 State. Most pairs out there are high-waisted and that just doesn’t work well on my body type. These are double-lined (a MUST for pants), and they flow beautifully. Best of all, they have just a bit of stretch in the back which help provide the perfect fit. Lastly, they’re light and feminine.
