Why I Love Matching Separates
Ta-da! My first post and strangely enough – it’s about matching separates… a fashion trend I used to hate! When I was little, my mom used to wear denim on denim and it drove me crazy. It just seemed like overkill to me. But, this set from LOFT won me over.

The windowpane print has been really popular lately and I can’t seem to go anywhere without getting a compliment on one of these pieces. What’s nice is that this gives you the option to create multiple outfits from the two different items. My taste normally gravitates toward classic style, so I can see myself wearing the sweatshirt with a white button-up blouse underneath and either dark denim or black skinnies.
