Capturing Style and Inspiration at Wynwood Walls
I started a new job last week (so excited!). So I had a few weeks in between that I used to get a ton of things done on my to-do list. One of those things was going down to check out the Wynwood Walls in Miami. It’s safe to say… I am in LOVE! I’d been in a bit of a creative rut lately, and the murals were incredibly inspiring. My favorite was this colorful, geometric painting by Maya Hayuk. Miami’s only a 30 minute drive from where we live. So we will definitely be going down to this awesome area a bit more in the future.

Rediscovering My Creative Confidence
This floral wall is incredible, right!? Writing for the blog has been a great experience, but it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by it too. Growing up, I have always tapped into my creative side, whether it was through gymnastics or dance, drawing, or making jewelry. It gets a lot harder when you’re adult to allocate enough time to doing things you love personally. And, it’s a lot tougher to put yourself out there as well.
Sometimes I get down, thinking not enough people read my posts or visit my website. However, visiting the Wynwood Walls re-inspired me to keep creating. I love fashion and styling, and although I’m not at New York Fashion Week yet, I’m happy with my journey.
