I Drove a Maserati Levante for a Week and Now I want One

South Florida blogger Amanda gives her full review of the Maserati Levante in partnership with Driveshop

As you guys know, I recently bought a new car. I did some research because I wanted to feel like I looked at my options. But, it’s obvious to me now that I really didn’t put a lot of effort into determining my dream car! Don’t get me wrong. What I have is very nice. But, the Maserati Levante is simply on another level. Back in late November I had the opportunity to drive the car for a full week. Honestly, during that time I felt so comfortable with her that I nicknamed her “Masi” – a sign I was getting attached. I let myself fall hard. I’m summing up all the reasons I know the Maserati Levante should (will) be my next car and why I’m starting to save now.

My Dream Car – Maserati Levante

Cars have always been something I’ve been interested in. I remember in high school it was serious. You could as me stats about random cars and I could rattle them off because I frequently picked up ‘Car and Driver’ magazine at the gas station (so random, right?!).

My taste has always gravitated towards sophisticated makes and models and this time is no different. Maserati is synonymous with luxury (they are made in Maranello, Italy; so, it’s fitting). From the second I set eyes on the car, to when I first revved her engine and then took her for a spin – I was hooked.

Living in South Florida, my driving style is assertive and bold (we live off of one of the busiest highways, so it makes sense). Sport mode in the Levante absolutely blew me away. I felt young and energetic and… dare I say it, happier!, in this car. Driving felt fun and Maserati made that happen.

Sure, it’s an investment (my ride for the week was the S Model which starts at $89K). But, I was happy to see there aren’t a ton of additional options. For the most part, the Levante comes fully loaded. So, for now – it might take me a while… but I’m starting to save for this baby.
