If you’re a regular reader, you know that dressing in neutrals is my go-to look. What you might not know is that I also consider leopard print a neutral too! This leopard print dress is from LOFT last year, but I’ve found a similar option here (under $30!) and have included more below. Live a little and work a fun animal print into your wardrobe!

A Killer Leopard Print Dress

There’s something about a leopard print dress that screams confidence to me. It’s funny because growing up I avoided any kind of animal print. I honestly thought it was too loud and ostentatious (I also felt that way about nail polish – ha!). But, while you’ll never catch me in zebra motif, I love a great leopard print.

This fun leopard print dress is from LOFT the year before last, but in prepping for this post I found an awesome alternative at Target for less than $30! With the Bloomingdale’s Friends & Family sale going on over the weekend, I also saw this slip dress and this wrap dress that I absolutely love. You can score either one for 25% OFF through today using code ‘FRIENDS’. Either of these would look great with black tights and black booties or over the knee boots like I wore here.

How to Accessorize the Look

Though the weather in South Florida hasn’t really called for over the knee boots yet (and it might never), I broke mine out to show you all how I’d style it if we had a real Fall season. These boots are a great dupe for the cult favorite Stuart Weitzman Highland’s at a fraction of the price. One of my girlfriends wore them to dinner last night and they looked stunning on her.

I also recommend that you keep your other accessories in neutral tones like cream, white or black so that the standout piece is really the print. I grabbed my classic Chanel bag (similar less expensive style here) and my black fedora with gold jewerly, like this choker and bangle.

Other Leopard Print Styles

I get it. Wearing a leopard print dress might be a bit much for some of you. If the thought of it simply overwhelms you, try working the print into your look via this calf hair clutch or this tie neck blouse (currently 25% OFF using code ‘FRIENDS’).

Above all, remember that fashion is fun and it’s inspiring to try different looks.
