I can’t exactly put words to how emotional our wedding day was, but if I told you it was the best day of my life, that would be an understatement. We were surrounded by our immediate family and closest friends who watched us say “I do” in a stunning wine country wedding at Beaulieu Garden in Napa. Today we’re being featured on Style Me Pretty and its bringing back all those amazing feelings of that oh so special day. I feel so grateful and blessed.

Our Wedding Day at Beaulieu Garden
When we decided to have a small wedding in Napa at Beaulieu Garden, we knew it was going to be a weekend to remember. With it’s gorgeous tree-lined entryway and sunken garden where we could say our vows, it was the perfect, romantic venue for us to start a new chapter of our lives together. Furthermore, Napa Valley is truly a wonderful location to have a destination wedding and I feel so lucky that I married my best friend there.
As for the details, when it came time to find a planner teaming up with Ashley Brand from LVL Events was an easy decision, and she made it all come together beautifully. She immediately understood our vision for the day and she found partners for everything to make it our fairy tale event. She introduced us to our designer and florist, Rion Designs, who literally transformed the venue into our boho glam theme we were trying to create. For our music, Josh Dukes and Boutique DJ’s had our 40 guests on the dance floor. All! Night! Long! Last, but certainly not least, Ashley suggested Daniel Gruen for cinematography. I’ve included our wedding highlight video above and it’s absolutely stunning. I cry nearly every time I watch it! When we have our full video I will share it here too.
Prim & Pixie styled and designed all our paper goods and I’ll be featuring all of their elements in an upcoming post. From the signage to the place cards and the invitations – I am obsessed with them all! But, the map of the weekend’s events was my favorite!
And, I can’t forget Jana. Our uber talented photographer, Jana Williams, is a pro at what she does, and she has a way of making you feel like her best friend! Her timeless photography literally makes me feel like I’m back at our wedding day.
When wedding week finally rolled around after nine months of planning, neither Matt nor I were nervous. Honestly, we were just super excited! We knew from the start that we were meant to be together and we’re still pinching ourselves that we get to say we’re married now. To choose this lifelong commitment is a decision both of us took so seriously and we feel so blessed to be in it together. If there is such a thing as soulmates – he is mine.
