In many cultures, white is the embodiment of purity and symbolizes new beginnings. After (hopefully) the last blip of colder weather everyone up North has been dealing with, it’s time to clean out your closet and make room for a lighter cover-up. It’s been breezy and downright windy in South Florida, so this white trench coat has been a savior with all the errands I’ve been running. We’re into the final stretch before our wedding and it seems like every weekend is jam packed with last minute preparations. Between this trench and the blush beauty I last wore here, my looks have transitioned from Winter to Spring. The dusty rose, winter white and light grey colors that are dominating my color palette are the definition of ladylike.
I wanted to keep this look soft, so I grabbed one of my favorite off-the-shoulder tops from Bailey 44 and lots of grey accents between my denim and bag. I’m also loving this top with lace details and this other off-the-shoulder top. I just bought this white distressed denim from AG Jeans and I think they’ll be a new go-to piece in my wardrobe. They would have been perfect with this white trench coat…
So, yea – there’s the question of how I’ll keep this trench clean. But, I’m not overly concerned. If that’s a deal breaker for you, chances are you’ll find another you like equally or more in my inspiration from this post.
