WINTER NEUTRALS

Vince Honeycomb cardigan and white AG JeansThis past weekend Matt took me to visit his hometown for the first time. We’ve been back to visit his family plenty of times, but this was my first trip to where he grew up. The weather was surprisingly warm, but it was still cold enough for this Florida girl to break out her favorite Winter neutrals! This cardigan was one of my Black Friday finds and it’s still on killer sale. I’ve been stocking up on basic layering shirts, like this one from Gap that comes in a handful of colors. Cardigan: Vince (also love this, this, and this) // Shirt: Gap Body // Denim: AG Jeans (also love these leggings) // Boots: Zara (old, similar here and love these as an investment) // Clutch: YSL (also love this affordable chic option and this cute foldover style) // Beanie: Collection XIIX // Scarf: Loft (old, similar here and here)

Winter neutrals like cream and off-white always make for a classic look, so I paired an oatmeal-colored cardigan by Vince with a super soft pair of white AG Jeans while we were up North in Chillicothe this last weekend. I wore this cardigan THREE times over the weekend I love it that much! At $149 it’s still a small investment, but it’s more than 50% off and I’ve wanted it for more than 2 years. So, I figured at this sale price I’d take the leap! I also really love this lightweight wool and cashmere option.

I continue to wear a lot of monotone looks. They’re just so easy to throw together. I’d love to say that I’m so well planned out that I have my outfits laid out each week; but, that’s next to never the case. In addition to winter white, I also really love grey as a winter neutral. I tend to like lighter grey colors versus charcoal. It just reminds me of Winter and snowy weather!

I’ve bought a bunch of basic pieces from Gap Body lately. Firstly, they have awesome sales. Secondly – their clothes are stretchy and soft! I feel like that little bit of stretch in the material helps make my clothes look more tailored and like they were made for me. I’m also all about comfort this time of year, so while I love their tees and tanks, I also love their sleepwear! I have two pairs of these cotton leggings that are my jam and I also love these sweater leggings.

I originally hesitated when I splurged on my YSL clutch, but I use it all the time. I can’t seem to find the cream color that I got mine in, so I’ve linked the white color here. I also really like this blush envelope clutch by Rebecca Minkoff. I have it in a grey color and it comes in a bunch of other color options. At just under $100, it’s an affordable accessory.
