I know they say you can’t wear white to a wedding. But, I did. That said – it was a very non-traditional celebration and I wouldn’t have done it any other time.
This past weekend, my nearly 90-year-old Grandfather got re-married. My Grandma passed away three years ago and my Grandpa was lucky to find love again. They had a small ceremony with their closest friends and then a party at their house. The bride wore black and white, so I got the okay to wear a white lace dress myself.
I love the sheer sleeves and bottom hem of this dress. It makes the look really feminine which is my standard style. Even better news – this little white dress just went on sale!
You can never go wrong with neutral accessories. So, to keep the look classic and soft, I paired it with nude strappy sandals and my favorite YSL clutch. The weather here in Florida has definitely gotten hot, so I didn’t bring a jacket. But, this light pom pomp scarf would have been a great addition.
