Styling a Classic Chambray Top
All brands are not created equal and high-cost does not necessarily mean high-quality. In the case of Bella Dahl though – you get so much more than you pay for. I find myself reaching for this top over and over again. It may have cost me a little more. But, I will definitely wear it more. My opinion is you should love everything in your closet. Don’t impulse buy (okay… sometimes it’s alright!), and getting dressed in the morning is that much easier.
I’ve learned over time where to invest and where to splurge. Trends come and go, but a classic chambray top will stand the test of time. I’ve found that a lot are often too stiff and don’t sit right on me. That means alterations, and a more affordable shirt can then become more costly. With Bella Dahl, the fabric is super soft and it drapes just right.
I wore my black skinny jeans in this look, but I’m also planning to wear it with white jeans or a deconstructed denim skirt.
I’m now eyeing this tie front version here. It would be great for Summer and perfect for our hot South Florida weather!
